Brides for a Cause
In my internship I will be working at Brides for a Cause in Tacoma, Washington. I will be working at one of their three locations. Brides for a Cause is a bridal shop that receives gently used bridal gowns and sells them at a cheaper price. Their main target market are the women that are getting married that cannot afford an expensive dress. I will be helping in every aspect of the business, from visual merchandising to back stock work to helping women pick out their perfect dress. I love bridal gowns and this internship is going to be a dream for me.
This internship will help me put what I have learned in the classroom into an actual store. I have not had the opportunity to put what I have learned into my job since I have been at school. After my internship I hope to have learned more about how a company works and get hands on experience.
I will apply my schooling to the internship by putting everything that I have learned toward my professional career. This internship will be a great way to put education forward to something that is bigger than school.
